In a thrilling match in the CAF Confederation Cup, Bahir from Ethiopia emerged victorious against Tanzania's Azam FC with a 4-3 penalty shootout.

The second leg ended 2-1 in favor of Azam, resulting in a tied aggregate score of 3-3. Azam took an early lead in the first minute through Iddy Nado, followed by a goal from Prince Dube in the 11th minute. However, Habtamu Zewede quickly reduced the deficit, leveling the aggregate score. With no further goals in the second half, the match went to penalties, where Bahir triumphed 4-3 to secure their place in the next round.
